Hawkins is a dedicated recovery advocate, program developer, and community leader with more than 25 years of experience helping individuals overcome substance use disorders, incarceration-related challenges, and barriers to personal growth. His work is driven by a passion for empowering people to transform their lives through education, recovery support, and practical life skills.
Throughout his career, E. L. has developed and facilitated evidence-based life skills, recovery, and reentry programs serving youth, adults, and justice-involved populations. He has extensive experience in case management, group facilitation, harm reduction, client engagement, and program leadership. His innovative approach combines lived experience, professional expertise, and a commitment to helping individuals build sustainable pathways to recovery and success.
E. L. has held leadership positions in behavioral health, nonprofit organizations, and community-based programs, including roles as Program Manager, Recovery Consultant, and Director of Marketing within the treatment and recovery field. He has successfully designed educational curricula, recovery-focused workshops, and supportive service programs that promote personal responsibility, emotional wellness, employment readiness, and long-term recovery.
